    TDS and SDS

    What separates the two

    • The technical data sheet — TDS

      Measured physical and chemical properties — viscosity at 40 °C and 100 °C, viscosity index, flash point, pour point, density — plus the standards and OEM approvals the product meets. It is the document you check a machine manual's requirement against, and the one you compare two products with.

    • The safety data sheet — SDS

      The document required by REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, in 16 fixed sections — hazard identification, composition, first-aid and fire-fighting measures, handling and storage, exposure controls, stability, disposal and transport considerations. It has to be on site, in the local language, for every chemical product in use, and it is the first thing a workplace-safety inspection asks for.

    The list above is our catalogue. If you need the sheet for a product you cannot see — something discontinued, a packaging variant, or a product we do not stock yet — write to office@frontier.ro or call us: in most cases we get it from the manufacturer the same day.
