Manufacturer's description

Eni Acer 32 is a lubricant for circulation systems and hydraulic circuits that call for anti-rust and antioxidant properties. Eni Acer 32 is recommended in particular for lubricating plain and rolling bearings, crank mechanisms and toothed couplings that need no anti-wear or EP properties, and for joints and wet clutches outside automotive use.

Applications

  • Eni Acer 32 is a lubricant for circulation systems, oleodynamic circuits and air compressors where antirust and antioxidant properties are required. Eni Acer 32 is particularly recommended for lubrication of journal and rolling bearings, crank mechanisms and gear couplings that are not demanding antiwear or E.P. performances, joints and wet clutches not for automotive applications.

Performance & benefits

  • Quick separation from water that could accidentally enter the system thanks to optimal demulsive capacity
  • Effective protection from rust and corrosion
  • Oil film continuity and uncompressibility ensured by a quick antifoam and air release action
  • Compatibility with rubber types that are commonly used for seals

Standards & approvals

  • Morgoil rev. 3.0 - 1999

Morgoil — oil-film bearing oil for rolling mills

The Morgan — today Primetals — specification for the oils in the oil-film backup roll bearings of rolling mills. Its central demand is rapid water separation at tank temperature, because cooling water inevitably reaches the oil.

  • DIN 51506 VCL

Air compressor oil VCL — DIN 51506

Class VCL of DIN 51506, with tighter oxidation and coking requirements than VBL, for discharge temperatures up to about 160 °C.

  • DIN 51517-2 CL

Industrial gear oil CL — DIN 51517, part 2

Part 2: CL oils, additised against oxidation and corrosion but without extreme-pressure additives.

  • CETOP RP 91 H HL

CETOP RP 91 H, type HL — hydraulic fluids

The recommendation of the European oleohydraulics and pneumatics committee for hydraulic fluids; type HL covers inhibited oils without antiwear additives.

  • BS 4231 HSC

BS 4231 class HSC — hydraulic viscosity grade

The British standard classifying hydraulic fluids by viscosity; classes HSA–HSE track the ISO VG grades, HSC sitting around ISO VG 32.

  • DIN 51524-1 HL

Hydraulic oil HL — DIN 51524, part 1

Part 1 of the standard: HL oils, additised against oxidation and corrosion but without antiwear protection. They are used where pressures are low.
