Mobil Delvac Modern 10W-40 Agri Universal is a synthetic-blend, extra-high-performance, multi-functional (STOU-type) lubricant for most farm equipment applications. Engineered from high-quality base stocks and an optimised additive system, it delivers excellent performance in diesel and gasoline engines, transmissions, hydraulics, final drives and oil-immersed brakes operating in agricultural service, and is recommended for the severe-duty applications and extreme operating environments typical of farming. As a multi-purpose product, it reduces the number of lubricants an agricultural operation needs to stock, cutting inventory and the risk of misapplication. Key benefits include reduced sludge and high-temperature deposits through excellent thermal and oxidation stability, extended TBN reserves for improved deposit control, good rust and corrosion protection especially in hydraulic components, effective detergency/dispersancy for cleaner engines, high-temperature viscosity retention to reduce scuffing and oil consumption, effective frictional and load-carrying properties that eliminate wet-brake chatter, and excellent low-temperature pumpability for easier start-up. The product carries approvals from ZF (TE-ML 07B, TE-ML 06B) and is recommended for ACEA E3, Allison C-4, API CE/CF/CF-4/CG-4/GL-4/SF, Caterpillar TO-2, CNH MAT 3525/3526, Ford ESN-M2C159-B/M2C 159B, JICASE MS 1206/1207/1209, John Deere JDM J27D (and meets J20C), and Massey Ferguson CMS M1144/M1139/M1145. It is an SAE 10W-40 grade with viscosity index 146, TBN 12 mgKOH/g and pour point -42°C.
