Manufacturer's description

Mobil 1 C40 GT 0W-40 is an advanced synthetic technology engine oil specifically engineered for high performing Porsche GT engines, developed through ExxonMobil's collaboration with Porsche AG spanning over 25 years. It is designed to protect the engine from wear in extreme conditions and prevent sludge formation, and carries the Porsche C40 GT approval. The oil is required by Porsche for GT models including the 911 GT3 (991 and newer), 911 GT3 Cup and GT3 R (991/992), 911 GT3 RS, 911 RSR, 911 R, 911 Speedster, 911 S/T (992), 718 Cayman GT4 RS and Clubsport, and 718 Spyder RS (owners should always confirm the manufacturer's recommended viscosity grade and specification in the vehicle handbook). Made with a proprietary blend of leading-edge components fully compatible with Porsche GT engines, and distinguishable by its unique green colour, Mobil 1 C40 GT 0W-40 delivers active cleaning agents for outstanding engine cleanliness and sludge control, outstanding high-temperature thermal and oxidation stability to reduce oil ageing across the drain interval, high-temperature oil film resistance for outstanding wear protection, and enhanced frictional properties that can help improve fuel economy.

Applications

  • Mobil 1 C40 GT 0W-40 is specifically designed for Porsche GT engines requiring C40 GT specification³. Mobil 1 C40 GT 0W-40 is required by Porsche for the following models: • 911 GT3 (991 and newer) • 911 GT3 Cup (991/992) • 911 GT3 R (991/992) • 911 GT3 RS (991 and newer) • 911 RSR (991) • 911 R (991) • 911 Speedster (991) • 911 S/T (992) • 718 Cayman GT4 RS (982) • 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport (982) • 718 Spyder RS (982) Notes 1: Based on industry and OEM standard engine tests. 2: Actual savings are dependent upon vehicle and engine type, outside temperature and barometric pressure, driving conditions and your current engine oil viscosity. 3: Always consult the owner's manual of the vehicle for the manufacturer's recommended viscosity grade and specifications.
