Mobil SHC Grease 461 WT is a high performance synthetic lithium complex grease specially formulated to lubricate yaw, pitch and main bearings of wind turbines, designed to exceed the demanding requirements of wind turbine applications at extreme temperatures. Its advanced synthetic base fluid, with low traction coefficient, provides excellent low temperature pumpability and very low starting and running torque. It is an NLGI 1.5 grade extreme pressure grease with an ISO VG 460 synthetic base fluid, and meets DIN 51825:2004-06 KPHC1-2M-50. The grease offers superb thermal stability and oxidation resistance compared to conventional greases, supporting extended service life with longer relubrication intervals, and outstanding low temperature performance for low torque and easy start-up. It provides excellent rust and corrosion protection for enhanced performance in wet conditions, outstanding structural stability in the presence of water, and excellent low temperature pumpability for reliable lubrication via centralized grease systems or dispensers. Its low traction base oil coefficient can offer improved mechanical life and reduced energy costs versus conventional greases, and it is supplied without dye for improved housekeeping. Mobil SHC Grease 461 WT is recommended for tough wind turbine applications, meeting most specifications of wind turbine builders and component suppliers, and demonstrates outstanding performance in the lubrication of yaw, pitch and generator bearings, whether manually greased or lubricated via centralized grease systems or dispensers, across a continuous operating temperature range of -50°C to 150°C with proper regreasing intervals.
