Manufacturer's description

PETRONAS Urania 3000 10W-40 is a semi-synthetic engine oil formulated with StrongTech technology, engineered to stay stronger for longer, forming a uniquely strong fluid film to extend drain intervals and engine life, maximize performance and keep trucks moving. It is suitable for all types of heavy-duty diesel applications, including modern, high-output, low-emission engines fitted with EGR emission control technology, as well as new and old turbocharged and naturally aspirated diesel engines, on- and off-highway, running on high or ultra-low sulphur diesel and biodiesel. It is fully backward compatible with previous E7-16 classifications, maintains optimal viscosity to prevent unplanned breakdowns, gives excellent control of deposit build-up and acidic level for a longer engine life and drain interval, and combats soot build-up while providing excellent low-temperature viscosity for start-up. PETRONAS Urania 3000 10W-40 meets API CH-4, CI-4, SL, SJ and ACEA E7, A3/B4, Global DHD-1 and JASO DH-1, with performance level and approvals including Allison TES-439, CAT ECF-2/ECF-1a, Cummins CES 20078/20077, Detroit Diesel DSF 93K215, Deutz DQC III, DTFR 15B110, DTFR 13D110, MAN M3275, MACK EO-N, MB 229.1, MTU Oil Category 2, Renault VI RLD-2 and Volvo VDS-3.

Applications

  • This helps in extending engine life and reduces the total cost of ownership. PETRONAS Urania 3000 10W-40 is suitable for all types of heavy-duty diesel applications including modern, high-output, low emission engines fitted with emission control system using EGR technology. It is also suitable for new and old turbocharged and naturally aspirated diesel engines, both on-highway and off-highway, running on high or ultra-low Sulphur diesel and biodiesel. Fully backward compatible with previous E7-16 classifications.
