Manufacturer's description

Eni OSO PM 46 is a special ashless, high quality hydraulic oil formulated with selected paraffinic base stocks treated with antirust, antioxidant and antiwear additives.

Applications

  • Eni OSO PM 46 is a special ashless high quality hydraulic oils formulated with selected paraffinic base stocks treated with antirust, antioxidant and antiwear additives, as illustrated by typical test results: Vickers test (I-286-S) vane and ring wear: around 50 mg FZG (A 8,3/90), scuffing test: pass the 12th stage BUGGER test: 31 N/mm2; Expressly developed for the presses Müller Weingarten for stamping and shearing sheet steel. Its particularly balanced additivation makes it suitable also in presence of clutches in oil bath.

Performance & benefits

  • Extremely good oxidation resistance even to high thermal stresses. Minimizes sludge and deposit formation
  • Outstanding anticorrosion and antirust properties to inhibit the oxidation of internal surfaces of hydraulic circuits
  • Good demulsibility. Prevent the formation of a stable emulsion between the oil and any water which enters the system through leakage or condensation
  • Very high filterability, also in presence of water. It is suitable for very fine filters (3 micron)

Standards & approvals

  • AFNOR NF E 48603 HM

    NF E 48-603 type HM

Class HM of the French standard: an antiwear hydraulic oil, the French counterpart of DIN 51524-2 HLP.
