PETRONAS Syntium 7000 DMX 0W-20 is formulated with °CoolTech™ technology to fight excessive engine heat. Modern driving conditions such as stop-start traffic, idling in the city, driving with heavy loads, highway acceleration and steep climbs put engines under a lot of stress that can lead to excessive heat build-up. °CoolTech™ targets the critical heat zones, the engine parts affected by excessive heat, to effectively absorb and transfer that heat and regulate the temperature, defending critical components from damage and loss of performance. The oil is specially designed to meet the demanding requirements of high-performance engines and is formulated with fully synthetic, environmentally friendly mid-SAPS lubricant technology to maintain the efficiency of exhaust gas after-treatment systems and to deliver fuel economy. It is suitable for all vehicles requiring engine oil, including the latest high-performance cars such as Mercedes-Benz fitted with emission control devices, electronically injected and/or multi-valve engines, turbochargers or superchargers operating under the most severe conditions. The experience gathered by PETRONAS on the F1 circuits has enabled the development of the Syntium range of hi-tech lubricants for new-generation engines, both on track and on the road. Its main benefit is ultimate high-temperature oxidation control, protecting against oil thickening at high or excessive temperatures. It also delivers exceptional high-temperature deposit control for improved drivability and engine performance, and withstands high-temperature evaporation loss to stop premature thermal degradation. Approvals and specifications: API SN, ACEA C5; meets or exceeds the performance requirements of MB-Approval 229.71 and Jaguar STJLR.51.5122.
