TUTELA TRANSMISSION STARGEAR (PLI code 76440) is a lubricant for synchronised manual transmissions of commercial and other non-passenger-car vehicles, formulated with carefully selected mineral base oils. STARGEAR protection provides excellent protection against corrosion and wear in the most difficult working conditions. The amber SAE 80W fluid has a kinematic viscosity of 10.7 cSt at 100°C, a viscosity index of 101, a pour point of -27°C and a flash point of 210°C; copper corrosion is rated 1b (3 h at 150°C) and foam is limited to traces. The product meets API GL-4 and holds the MB-Approval 235.1, and covers ZF TE-ML 02B and 17A as well as MAN 341 Type E1 and MAN 341 Typ Z2. It is available in 20-litre and 200-litre packs for workshop and fleet use; always check the transmission manufacturer's requirements before use.
