Cat Ultimate Arctic Grease is a synthetic-base, semi-fluid grease supplied by Caterpillar under its Cat Fluids brand, blended by ExxonMobil. As its name indicates, it is intended for equipment operating in extreme cold, arctic environments, where a lubricant must remain workable and continue protecting components at very low temperatures. Per its safety data sheet, it has a characteristic dark gray color and a base oil viscosity in the region of 61 to 75 cSt at 40 °C. No official Caterpillar technical data sheet is held in this folder for this product, so its NLGI consistency grade, thickener type, dropping point and full operating temperature range are not documented here.
