AGIP SP GR MU 00 was developed for general lubrication wherever a semi-fluid grease without EP (extreme pressure) properties is required. It is therefore suitable for plain and rolling bearings, swivels, joints and other parts of industrial, construction and agricultural machinery; it can be used, for instance, in some types of centralised grease system fitted to road haulage trucks. It is recommended in particular for the automatic, centralised lubrication of rail wheel flanges and of the sliding bows of certain electric locomotive pantographs (De Limon, Lubromeccanica, Villy Wogel and the like).

Applications

• AGIP SP GR MU 00 has been developed for general lubrication in all cases requiring a semifluid grease without EP (Extreme Pressure) properties). It is therefore suitable for plain and rolling bearings, swivels, joints and other parts of industrial, construction and agricultural machinery (for instance, it can be employed in some types of centralized grease systems installed on road-haulage trucks). It is particularly recommended for automatic, centralized lubrication of rail-wheel flanges and the sliding bows of some kinds of electric locomotive pantographs (e.g De Limon, Lubromeccanica, Villy Wogel and the like).

•  The high mechanical and chemical stability of the product ensures that its properties remain unaltered even after long exposure to intense mechanical loads and thermal stresses.  Its outstanding resistance to oxidation inhibits deterioration both during storage and use, while its high dropping point allows the product to be used effectively over a wide range of temperatures.  AGIP SP GR MU 00 grease adheres tenaciously to the surfaces to which it is applied, resisting the dislodging effect of vibrations. It is also water-resistant, so it can be used in wet environments and in contact with water.  The multipurpose characteristics of AGIP SP GR MU 00 permit rationalization of stocks, since a variety of components can be lubricated with a single semifluid grease
