Mobil Delvac Ultra Total Driveline 75W-90
Fully synthetic driveline oil for gearboxes, axles and differentials, API GL-4/GL-5
SAE 75W-90
TUTELA TRANSMISSION STARGEAR AX-ED (PLI code 76441) is a fully synthetic fluid developed for the latest generation of heavy commercial vehicle axles, for use under heavy loads and with extended change intervals. The SAE 75W-90 formulation offers a high viscosity index of 157, a kinematic viscosity of 15.1 cSt at 100°C, a pour point of -51°C, a Brookfield viscosity of 67,000 cPs at -40°C and a flash point above 200°C, with foam limited to traces, ensuring both cold-start lubrication and a stable film at high operating temperatures. The product meets SAE J2360, API GL-5/MT-1 and MIL-PRF-2105E, holds the MB-Approval 235.8 and SCANIA STO 1:0, and covers ARVIN MERITOR O76-N, MAN 341 Type E3, MAN 342 Typ M3 performance, ZF TE-ML 02B, 05A, 12L, 12N, 16F, 17B, 19C and 21A, DAF performance, MACK GO-J performance and RENAULT note technique B0032/2 annex 3. Available in 20-litre and 200-litre packs; always check the axle manufacturer's requirements before use.
SAE 75W-90 viscosity grade
A viscosity grade, not a performance level.
SAE J2360 — registered EP axle oil
The standard that took over the MIL-PRF-2105E military specification. Unlike API GL-5 it requires product registration and axle rig testing, which makes it the harder level to hold.
Gear oil, API GL-5 service level
API's service designation for axle and manual transmission oils.
Gear oil, API MT-1 service level
API's service designation for axle and manual transmission oils.
MIL-PRF-2105E — EP gear and axle oil
The revised issue of the US military EP gear oil specification, which added seal compatibility requirements. Superseded by SAE J2360.
Scania STO 1:0 — transmission and axle oil
Scania's works standard for the oils in its own gearboxes and axles, with synchroniser and hypoid gear protection requirements.
