Mobil Super 3000 Formula D1 5W-30
Full synthetic oil for American, Japanese and Korean petrol engines, dexos1 Gen3
SAE 5W-30
Mobil 1 x1 5W-30 is an advanced-performance full-synthetic engine oil from Mobil 1, the world's leading synthetic engine oil brand. It is formulated with a proprietary blend of high-performance synthetic base stocks and a precisely balanced additive system, designed to meet or exceed the demanding ILSAC GF-7 and API SQ Resource Conserving standards while helping the engine run like new. The oil is recommended for many modern passenger car, SUV and light van engines, including high-performance turbocharged and supercharged gasoline and diesel multi-valve fuel-injected units. It is appropriate for Ford, General Motors, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, and Japanese and Korean vehicles specifying an SAE 5W-30 viscosity grade, and is especially suitable for extreme operating conditions where conventional oils may not perform as well. It is not recommended for 2-cycle or aviation engines unless specifically approved by the manufacturer. Key benefits include excellent lubrication and wear protection, LSPI and timing-chain wear protection under ILSAC GF-6/API SP, protection for exhaust after-treatment systems such as particulate filters (GPF, DPF) and catalytic converters, and extended turbocharger and engine life through deposit and sludge control. The product carries GM dexos1:GEN3 licensing and VW VWC 53034 approval, and meets or exceeds numerous Ford, GM, FIAT, Chrysler, ACEA and API specifications including ACEA C2, ACEA A5/B5, API SP and API SQ Resource Conserving.
GM dexos1 Gen 3, licensed
GM's current petrol engine oil specification, third generation: protection against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI), turbocharger cleanliness and fuel economy. "Licensed" means the product carries the registered dexos mark.
Ford WSS-M2C946-A — engine oil
A Ford passenger-car engine oil specification adding in-house fuel economy requirements to the ACEA level.
GM 6094M — engine oil (obsolete)
GM's old passenger-car engine oil specification, withdrawn once the modern API categories and the dexos specifications arrived.
Fiat 9.55535-CR1 — engine oil
A fluid specification from the Fiat Chrysler — today Stellantis — 9.55535 / 955535 series; the letter-and-digit suffix identifies the performance level and viscosity grade.

Petrol engine oil, API SN performance level
API's service category for spark-ignition engines. Current category.Source
ILSAC GF-6A petrol engine oil
The ILSAC level that added protection against low-speed pre-ignition and timing chain wear. The A variant covers the ordinary viscosity grades, from SAE 0W-20 upwards.
API SN Plus, Resource Conserving
An API petrol-engine level that adds protection against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) in turbocharged direct-injection engines to the SN level. The Resource Conserving mark also certifies fuel economy.
API SN, Resource Conserving
The API SN petrol-engine level carrying the Resource Conserving mark: fuel economy, catalyst protection and compatibility with ethanol-containing fuels.
Petrol engine oil, API SP performance level
API's service category for spark-ignition engines. Current category.Source
API SP, Resource Conserving
The current API petrol-engine level: LSPI protection, turbocharger cleanliness and deposit control, plus the Resource Conserving mark for fuel economy.
Chrysler MS-6395 — engine oil
The Chrysler specification for engine oils in its own passenger cars, called for at the viscosity grade the maker specifies.

ACEA A5/B5 oil sequence
ACEA's sequence for petrol and light-duty diesel engines.Source
Petrol engine oil, API SQ performance level
API's service category for spark-ignition engines. Current category.Source
API SQ, Resource Conserving
The newest API petrol-engine category, tightening the SP requirements for oxidation, deposits and aftertreatment protection, with the Resource Conserving mark.
ILSAC GF-7A petrol engine oil
The newest ILSAC level for petrol engine oils, tightening the oxidation, deposit and LSPI requirements of GF-6A.
