High-quality manual gearbox oil, API GL-4. Shell Spirax S2 G 80W-90 is an oil intended for automotive gearboxes and contains the multifunctional additives required for operation under mild extreme-pressure conditions.
Applications
- Manual gearboxesShell Spirax S2 G 80W-90 provides excellent lubrication of the manual gearboxes of motorcycles, passenger cars and commercial vehicles operating under high-speed/low-torque and low-speed/high-torque duty. The product is also recommended for synchromesh gearboxes.
- Rear axleSuitable for moderate duty, such as that typical of light commercial vehicles, passenger cars and motorcycles. Not recommended for the heavy duty of hypoid axles.
