Arbor Alfatech 15W40
Diesel engine oil for farm and construction machinery with SCR/EGR, ACEA E7, API CI-4
API CI-4
PETRONAS Arbor Alfatech Synth 10W-40 is a premium engine oil dedicated to agricultural and construction machinery, protecting against oxidation, decomposition and wear while keeping optimal piston cleanliness and viscosity stability for a longer life-cycle. It suits all types of heavy-duty diesel applications, including modern, high-output, low-emission engines fitted with SCR and EGR emission control, as well as new and old turbocharged and naturally aspirated diesel engines, on- and off-highway, running on high or ultra-low sulphur diesel and biodiesel. It is fully backward compatible with previous E7-16 classifications and suits AGCO, Caterpillar, Hitachi, Hyundai, Renault Tractors, Same Deutz Fahr and Volvo CE machinery, maintaining optimal viscosity, controlling deposit build-up and combating soot for longer engine life, with excellent cold-start lubrication. It meets API CI-4, CH-4, ACEA E7, Global DHD-1 and CAT ECF-2, ECF-1a specifications, with Cummins CES 20078, MACK EO-N, MTU Oil Category 2, Renault RLD-2 and Volvo VDS-3 approvals, plus Allison TES-439, Cummins CES 20077, Detroit Diesel 93K215, MAN M3275, MB 228.3/235.28, SDFG OM-1901A, Voith Retarder B and Deutz DQC III performance levels.

Global DHD-1 — heavy-duty diesel engine oil
The joint specification drafted by the American, European and Japanese heavy-duty engine makers, so that one level would hold good across all three markets.
Caterpillar's engine crankcase fluid category for CAT diesel engines with tighter deposit and wear control requirements than ECF-1a.
Caterpillar ECF-1a
Caterpillar's first Engine Crankcase Fluid category, for CAT diesel engines without advanced aftertreatment. Superseded by ECF-2 and ECF-3.
Cummins' low-SAPS specification for diesel engines with full exhaust aftertreatment, with strict oxidation and aeration requirements.
Allison TES-439 — off-highway transmission fluid
Allison's transmission fluid specification for off-highway equipment and buses, successor to the C-4 level, with tighter oxidation stability and friction durability requirements.
Cummins' oil specification for EGR diesel engines with a particulate filter, with capped ash to protect the DPF.
MTU oil quality category 2: higher-quality monograde and multigrade oils for MTU diesel engines, without an ash cap.
MAN M 3275 — truck engine oil
MAN's specification for medium-drain truck engine oils at the ACEA E7 level.
Renault Trucks RLD-2 — heavy-duty diesel engine oil
Renault Trucks' specification for extended-drain truck engine oils at the ACEA E7 level, without a low-ash requirement.
Mercedes-Benz approval 228.3
A Mercedes-Benz operating-fluid approval (BeVo sheet).
Volvo's engine oil specification for Euro III–V trucks without a particulate filter, with severe soot control requirements for EGR engines.
