Urania C 40
Mono-grade engine oil for naturally aspirated diesel trucks and industrial vehicles
SAE 40
PETRONAS Urania C 15W-40 is a lubricant intended for first fill of naturally aspirated and turbocharged diesel engines. It is formulated in SAE 15W-40 viscosity grade for heavy-duty diesel service. Urania C 15W-40 meets CCMC D4, API CF-4, MIL-L-2104 E performance level and MB 227.1.
SAE 15W-40 viscosity grade
A viscosity grade, not a performance level.
CCMC D4 — heavy-duty diesel engine oil (obsolete)
A category of CCMC, the European carmakers' body that preceded ACEA. D4 covered heavy-duty diesel engine oils; the whole classification was replaced by the ACEA sequences in 1996.
Diesel engine oil, API CF-4 performance level
API's service category for high-speed four-stroke diesel engines, of the generation preceding the emissions standards. An earlier category in the API service classification, written for the engines of its era; it still appears on datasheets alongside the current categories.Source
