Eni i-Sint 0W-20
Synthetic technology oil for newly manufactured cars, hybrids included
SAE 0W-20
PETRONAS Syntium 7000 Hybrid 0W-20 is formulated with °CoolTech™ to fight excessive engine heat. °CoolTech™ targets the critical heat zones inside the engine to effectively absorb and transfer excessive heat and regulate temperature, defending critical components from damage and loss of performance. Hybrid engines with start-stop systems endure more stress than conventional engines, as increased engine re-starts put extra load on the valvetrain and crankshaft, causing higher pressure and temperature inside the cylinders and requiring an oil able to withstand these conditions. PETRONAS Syntium 7000 Hybrid 0W-20 is formulated to protect against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) in turbocharged direct-injection gasoline vehicles and meets the latest API SN PLUS specification. It is dedicated and suitable for petrol-electric hybrid vehicles. Main benefits include ultimate high-temperature oxidation control that protects against oil thickening at high or excessive temperatures. It also delivers ultimate high-temperature deposit control to improve drivability and enhance engine performance, resistance to high-temperature lubricant evaporation loss to stop premature thermal degradation and help prevent engine wear-related failure, and ultimate fuel economy performance that is maintained even as the oil ages in the engine. The oil meets and exceeds the API SN PLUS, ILSAC GF-5 and GM Dexos1 Gen2 approvals and specifications. Typical physical characteristics include a density of 0.846 kg/l at 15°C, a pour point of -39°C, a kinematic viscosity of 45.0 cSt at 40°C and 8.4 cSt at 100°C, a viscosity index of 167, a cold-cranking viscosity of 5100 cP at -35°C, a sulphated ash content of 0.8% wt and a TBN of 8.0 mg KOH/g.
