• High-capacity diesel enginesShell Rimula R5 E oil provides guaranteed protection and performance for the latest high-performance, high-output diesel engines from Europe, the United States and Japan, in both on-highway and stationary applications. Shell Rimula R5 E is suitable for use with biodiesel, observing the oil drain intervals recommended by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
• Shell Rimula R5 E oil is suitable for most modern low-emission engines that comply with the Euro 2, Euro 3 and US 2002 emissions requirements. For the latest low-emission engines, particularly those fitted with diesel particulate filters (DPF), we recommend the use of our products designed for low-emission engines, Shell Rimula R6 LM/LME oils.
• Superior low-emission engines: Shell Rimula R5 E oil is suitable for most modern low-emission engines that comply with the Euro 2, Euro 3 and US 2002 emissions requirements
