Divinol System Cleaner Gearbox (Art-Nr. 89890) is an optimization product for the chemical cleaning of gearboxes. It is used for the removal of deposits and residues in automatic transmissions as well as other gearboxes in cars and commercial vehicles. Divinol System Cleaner Gearbox was specially developed for use with oil-change equipment. It must be used according to the instructions for the automatic oil-change system, typically at 5-10% in the gear oil. The product can also be added directly to the gear oil; the mixture should then be circulated by pump for 15-20 minutes, or the vehicle should be driven for this period. Afterwards the gearbox should be flushed and refilled with fresh oil, and the gearbox oil filter changed if present. 300 ml is suitable for 6-9 litres of gear oil; overdosing should be avoided. The manufacturer notes that the specifications of its product generally take precedence over general objective quality requirements.
