Divinol B Classic (Art-Nr. 08920) is a semi-synthetic, non-water-miscible multi-purpose release agent for concrete. It is solvent-free, free of waxes and silicones, causes no discolouration of the concrete surface and is very economical in use. The product is suitable for Minergie-Eco, the Swiss label for ecological building, and has been used on reference projects such as the DC Tower in Vienna. Divinol B Classic can be used for all common types of formwork in precast concrete factories and in building construction, from less absorbent or non-absorbent phenolic-resin-coated formwork to plastic formwork. Used properly, it prevents direct contact between the formwork and the concrete surface, so surface damage and costly re-working are avoided, the service life of the formwork is extended and overall profitability improves, while environmental hazards are excluded. It does not adversely affect subsequent treatments of the concrete surface such as plastering, ceramics, wallpaper or paint. The product is applied as delivered by spraying, brushing or rolling. It is not frost-sensitive and can be used in all weather conditions; any thickening below 0 °C is reversible.

Applications

• Divinol B Classic can be used for all common types of formwork in concrete factories and in the building construction: for less or non-absorbent formwork (phenlo resin formwork) as well as formwork made of plastic material. If used properly, Divinol B Classic does not allow direct contact of the formwork with the concrete surface. Thus, damages to the surface of the concrete can be prevented and re-working can be avoided. The life-time of the formwork will be extended and therefore the profitability in general. Moreover, an environmental hazard is excluded. If used properly, Divinol B Classic does not influence negatively the subsequent treatment of the concrete surface (plastering, ceramics, wallpaper, paint). **Preparation of the emulsion.** Divinol B Classic can be applied in the state at time of delivery by spraying, brushing or rolling without any problems.
