Manufacturer's description

PETRONAS Urania 5000 10W-40 is a synthetic engine oil formulated with StrongTech technology, engineered to stay stronger for longer by forming a uniquely strong fluid film that extends drain intervals and engine life while maximizing performance and reducing total cost of ownership. It is suitable for all types of heavy-duty diesel applications, including modern and high-output emission engines, as well as new and old turbocharged and naturally aspirated diesel engines, on-highway and off-highway, running on high or ultra-low sulphur diesel and biodiesel. It maintains oil at optimal viscosity, delivers excellent control of deposit build-up and acidity, offers outstanding anti-wear protection in severe conditions, extends drain capability especially on low-emission engines, combats soot build-up, and provides excellent low-temperature viscosity at start-up. Urania 5000 10W-40 meets API CI-4 and ACEA E7/E4, and is approved to Daimler Truck Fluid Release (DTFR) 15B120 (MB 228.5, backward compatible with E4-16 and E7-16), Cummins CES 20078, Mack EO-N, MAN M3277, MTU Oil Category 3, Renault RLD-2 and Volvo VDS-3, with additional performance-level recognition from IVECO 18-1804 Class T3 E4.

Applications

  • This helps in extending engine life and reduces the total cost of ownership. PETRONAS Urania 5000 10W-40 is suitable for all types of heavy-duty diesel applications including modern and high-output emission engines. It is also suitable for new and old turbocharged and naturally aspirated diesel engines, both on-highway and off-highway, running on high or ultra-low Sulphur diesel and bio-diesel. PETRONAS Urania 5000 10W-40 is approved Daimler Truck Fluid Release (DTFR) 15B120, fully backward compatible and suitable for use for vehicles recommending the previous Daimler MB 228.5 specification. Fully backward compatible with previous E4-16 and E7-16 classifications.
