Divinol Wachs Kristallklar (Art-Nr. 29890) is a synthetic, solvent-based long-term corrosion protection agent for preservation work. It offers very good surface protection together with water-displacing properties and good creeping action, so it reaches areas that are difficult to access. After application the solvent fraction evaporates and a crystal-clear wax layer remains, which does not cover the protected material with a cloudy film. The product combines optimum adhesion with the highest elasticity of the preservation film, very good salt-water resistance (marine climate resistance), good creeping action, compatibility with attached components, good temperature resistance and a very good evaporation/drying time. In the salt spray test to DIN EN ISO 9227 it reaches 101 hours, and it passes more than 40 rounds of the Kesternich test to DIN EN ISO 6270-2. Typical uses are in the car and commercial-vehicle sector — for example preserving winter-service gritting vehicles, sealing cavities or edges and folds — and long-term preservation indoors or outdoors in manufacturing industry.
