AeroShell Grease 22 is a general-purpose grease with versatile applications, composed of a synthetic hydrocarbon oil and a MicroGel® thickener, with outstanding performance characteristics. Suitable additives are included to achieve the required oxidation and corrosion resistance and anti-wear and load carrying properties. It is recommended for use in the temperature range -65 0C to +204 0C.

Applications

  • AeroShell Grease 22 is particularly recommended for use wherever severe operating conditions are encountered, such as heavily loaded bearings, high speeds and a wide operating temperature range, and especially where long grease retention and high resistance to water wash-out are required.
  • The wide range of applications includes aircraft wheel bearings, engine accessories, control systems, actuators, screw jacks, servo mechanisms and electric motors, helicopter rotor bearings, instruments, airframe lubrication, hinge pins, static joints and landing gear.
  • AeroShell Grease 22 contains a synthetic hydrocarbon oil and should not be used in contact with incompatible seal materials.
