PETRONAS Sprinta T500 is a semi-synthetic engine oil suitable for all types of 2-stroke gasoline motorcycle engines, especially newer generation engines with carburettor, electronic fuel injection (EFI) and direct fuel injection (DFI), covering racing, endurance, motocross, go-karts, on-road and off-road riding conditions. It is suitable for motorcycles from leading Japanese, European and American manufacturers operating under normal and severe riding conditions. Its features include advanced oil film strength for efficient protection and reliability at high temperature and RPM, delivering improved acceleration, and advanced detergency control to eliminate damaging deposits and protect engines against exhaust system blocking. Its low-ash technology effectively reduces pre-ignition and catalyst deterioration, helping deliver advanced engine efficiency and power, and its optimum clean, efficient burning produces extremely low exhaust smoke; it also mixes readily with leaded and unleaded petrol. The oil meets or exceeds the requirements of API TC, JASO FC, ISO EGC and TISI. Typical physical characteristics include a density of 0.856 g/cm³ at 15°C, a viscosity of 7.57 cSt at 100°C, a viscosity index of 100, a flash point of 104°C, a pour point of -39°C and a sulphated ash content of 0.08%.
