Manufacturer's description

Mobil Super 1000 X1 10W-40, 15W-40 and 20W-50 belong to the Mobil Super 1000 range of premium mineral engine oils, designed to provide a high level of protection and performance. They are formulated for use in nearly all vehicles — gasoline and diesel, passenger cars, SUVs, light trucks and vans — for highway cruising and normal operating conditions; the 20W-50 grade is also suitable for LPG vehicles. ExxonMobil particularly recommends the range for daily driving under normal conditions. Across the three grades, Mobil Super 1000 X1 provides good wear protection, good engine cleanliness and good high temperature protection, and is recommended for applications requiring API CF. All three grades meet or exceed API SL/SJ and ACEA A3/B3, and carry the builder approvals VW 505 00 and MB-Approval 229.1. Owners should always check their vehicle's manual for the recommended viscosity grade and specification.
