Manufacturer's description
Mobil Chassis Grease LBZ is a semi-fluid lithium-thickened grease based on synthetic oils, in the NLGI 00-000 consistency group, specifically developed for central lubrication systems on commercial vehicles. It contains anti-oxidants, corrosion inhibitors, and extreme pressure and anti-wear additives, and is compatible with NBR, ACM and FKM seals suited to the operating temperatures. Due to its special formulation and semi-fluid consistency, Mobil Chassis Grease LBZ exhibits excellent flow even at very low temperatures and through long pipelines, with an oil film that adheres well and does not run off during stoppages, giving rapid on-flow to the greasing points. It offers good pumpability in centralised systems at low temperatures, reduced wear under heavy or shock loading and vibration, good protection against rust, corrosion and salt-spread exposure, and resistance to water washout, with controlled oil release for balanced, long-lasting lubrication. It is recommended by ExxonMobil for central lubrication systems using semi-fluid greases on commercial vehicles operating between -50°C and 100°C, and is suited to the semi-fluid grease systems of Willie Vogel AG (down to -25°C) and Mercedes-Benz (Sheet 264.0 Semi-Fluid Greases). Mobil Chassis Grease LBZ holds Mercedes-Benz MB-Approval 264.0 and MAN 283 Li-P 0-000 builder approvals.
