Petronas Hydraulic HV 68
High viscosity index hydraulic oil for wide temperature variations
ISO VG 68
PETRONAS Hydraulic Plus 68 belongs to the premium performance, wear-resistant PETRONAS Hydraulic Plus Series, specially created for a wide range of modern mobile and industrial hydraulic equipment operating under normal to extremely heavy-duty conditions, including the latest high-speed, high-pressure systems. It is recommended for systems with smaller reservoirs and coolers generating high thermal stress, systems sensitive to sludge and varnish formation with tight-tolerance pumps and servo valves, and systems demanding long-life lubricants. Formulated with the highest quality selected base oils, advanced anti-wear, antioxidant, anti-rust and anti-foam additives combined with friction modifiers, it delivers excellent anti-wear protection under demanding operating conditions and an oxidation life up to 5 times longer than the minimum ISO 11158 HM TOST requirement. Grade 68 has a kinematic viscosity of 68 cSt at 40°C and 8.8 cSt at 100°C, a viscosity index of 102, a flash point of 230°C and a pour point of -30°C. PETRONAS Hydraulic Plus Series meets or exceeds key industrial specifications and OEM requirements, including the latest Bosch Rexroth RDE 90235, ASTM D6158 HM, ISO 11158 HM, DIN 51524 Part II HLP, GM LS-2, Parker Denison HF0/HF1/HF2, SAE MS1004, Eaton 03-401-2010 and Fives Cincinnati P-68/P-69/P-70.
ASTM D6158, type HM — antiwear hydraulic oil
The American standard for mineral hydraulic oils of type HM, that is, oils with antiwear additives. It is the ASTM counterpart of DIN 51524-2 HLP and ISO 11158 HM.
The 2004 issue of the GM LS-2 specification for extreme-pressure gear lubricants.
Bosch Rexroth RDE 90235 — fire-resistant hydraulic fluids
The Bosch Rexroth standard for fire-resistant hydraulic fluids (HFA–HFD) in its own equipment, with material compatibility and antiwear limits.
Hydraulic oil, type H HM — ISO 11158
The international standard for mineral hydraulic fluids; class HM is the antiwear oil, the ISO counterpart of DIN 51524-2 HLP.
Parker Denison HF-0, HF-1 and HF-2
The three Denison hydraulic fluid levels quoted together. An oil covering all three passes the vane pump and piston pump tests alike, including in the presence of water.
Hydraulic oil Part II HLP — DIN 51524
Part 2 of the German hydraulic fluid standard: HLP oils — mineral oils with oxidation, corrosion and antiwear additives. It is the most widely quoted reference in industrial hydraulics.
SAE MS1004 — brake fluid classification
The SAE classification standard for glycol brake fluids, grouping the DOT levels by boiling point and cold viscosity.
Eaton 03-401-2010 — hydraulic fluids
Eaton's hydraulic fluid specification for its own pumps and motors, which unified the former Vickers I-286-S and M-2950-S requirements.
SEB 181 222 — HLP hydraulic oil
A delivery condition for mineral HLP hydraulic oils to DIN 51524-2, used when supplying German industrial equipment.
Fives Cincinnati P-68, P-69 and P-70 — hydraulic oils
The three Fives Cincinnati approvals for machine tool hydraulic oils, one per viscosity grade: P-68 for ISO VG 32, P-70 for ISO VG 46 and P-69 for ISO VG 68.
U.S. Steel 126 — antiwear hydraulic oil
The steel industry specification for antiwear hydraulic oils: wear protection, oxidation stability and demulsibility in rolling mill systems, where water is always present.
AISE 127 — steel mill lubrication recommendations
The AISE — today AIST — standard collecting the lubrication recommendations for steel plant installations: oil types, viscosity grades and requirements per equipment group.
