Divinol ATF IIIH R (Art-Nr. 51900) is a red-dyed power transmission oil for automatic transmissions. It offers excellent oxidation stability, very good wear protection, outstanding cold-flow behaviour, a wide operating temperature range and good seal compatibility, making it a versatile automatic transmission fluid for a wide range of vehicle types. The fluid is used as a power transmission oil in automatic transmissions of passenger cars, trucks, buses and special-purpose vehicles. It can also be used in hydrodynamic torque converters, hydraulic systems and power-steering systems, in each case following the vehicle or equipment manufacturer's instructions. Divinol ATF IIIH R meets GM Dexron III H, GM Dexron III G, GM Dexron II D and GM Dexron TASA, Ford Mercon, and carries the Divinol recommendation for DTFR 13C120, Mercedes-Benz MB 236.2, Ford ESP-M2C 166 H, Ford ESP-M2C 138 CJ, Allison C4 and Caterpillar TO-2. It is clear red in appearance, with a density of 0.85 kg/m³ at 15°C, a viscosity of 38 mm²/s at 40°C and 7.7 mm²/s at 100°C, a viscosity index of at least 170, a flash point of at least 200°C and a pour point of -48°C.

Standards & approvals

• GM Dexron III G

  GM DEXRON III-G — automatic transmission fluid (obsolete)

  The DEXRON III-G level, with better oxidation stability than II-D. Licensing has ended and GM has moved on to DEXRON VI.

• GM Dexron II D

  GM DEXRON II-D — automatic transmission fluid (obsolete)

  GM's automatic transmission fluid level from the 1980s–90s, now withdrawn. It still appears on the datasheets of transmission and hydraulic oils for older equipment.

• GM Dexron TASA

  GM DEXRON TASA — automatic transmission fluid

  A marking used for fluids built to the DEXRON level but without a live GM licence — a technical alternative declared by the oil maker rather than approved by GM.

• Caterpillar TO-2

  Caterpillar TO-2 — transmissions and wet brakes (superseded)

  Caterpillar's specification for transmission, clutch and wet-brake oils in off-highway equipment. Superseded by TO-4 but still quoted on universal off-highway oils.
