Petronas Urania 3000 15W-40
Heavy-duty diesel engine oil for SCR and EGR engines, ACEA E7, API CI-4, MB 228.3
SAE 15W-40
PETRONAS Urania Prime 15W-40 is a premium heavy-duty engine oil formulated with StrongTech technology, forming a uniquely strong fluid film that protects the engine, retains performance and keeps trucks running and available for longer, helping reduce total cost of ownership. It is suitable for all types of heavy-duty diesel applications, including high-output Euro III to Euro V engines fitted with EGR technology and most using SCR NOx reduction systems, as well as new and old turbocharged and naturally aspirated diesel engines, on-highway and off-highway, running on high or ultra-low sulphur diesel and biodiesel. It is approved Daimler Truck Fluid Release (DTFR) 15B110 (backward compatible with MB 228.3 and previous E7-16 classification) and replaces Urania 3000 15W-40. It keeps viscosity stable and prevents deposit and sludge formation for longer oil life, controls acidity, offers outstanding anti-wear protection, combats soot build-up, and provides better fluid-film resistance under severe mechanical stress. Urania Prime 15W-40 meets ACEA E7, API CI-4, CH-4, SL, SJ and JASO DH-1, and is approved Cummins CES 20078, Deutz DQC III, DTFR 15B110, Mack EO-N, MTU Oil Category 2, Renault RLD-2 and Volvo VDS-3, with performance level in line with CAT ECF-1a/ECF-2, Cummins CES 20077/20076, Detroit Diesel DSF 93K215, IVECO 18-1804 Class T2 E7, Mack EO-M/EO-M Plus, MAN M3275 and MB 228.3.

JASO DH-1 — diesel engine oil
The Japanese heavy-duty diesel engine oil standard for engines without a particulate filter, tuned to local fuel and duty cycles.
Cummins' low-SAPS specification for diesel engines with full exhaust aftertreatment, with strict oxidation and aeration requirements.
Cummins' oil specification for EGR diesel engines with a particulate filter, with capped ash to protect the DPF.
Cummins' oil specification for engines with cooled exhaust gas recirculation, with increased soot control requirements.
Daimler Truck DTFR 15B110 (formerly MB 228.3) — multigrade engine oil
A multigrade engine oil for medium- and high-duty diesel engines without exhaust aftertreatment — typically up to Euro IV. Daimler Truck renumbered the MB-Approval sheets into the DTFR series; MB 228.3 and DTFR 15B110 are the same requirement.Source
Detroit Fluids Specification 93K215
Detroit Diesel's engine oil specification for the heavy-duty generation preceding particulate filters. Superseded by 93K218 and 93K222.
MTU oil quality category 2: higher-quality monograde and multigrade oils for MTU diesel engines, without an ash cap.
Renault Trucks RLD-2 — heavy-duty diesel engine oil
Renault Trucks' specification for extended-drain truck engine oils at the ACEA E7 level, without a low-ash requirement.
MAN M 3275 — truck engine oil
MAN's specification for medium-drain truck engine oils at the ACEA E7 level.
