Eni Brake Fluid DOT 4
DOT 4 brake fluid for disc, drum, ABS and hydraulic clutch circuits
SAE J 1704
Eni Brake Fluid DOT 5.1 is a high-performance synthetic fluid for braking circuits, meeting the U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Standard No. 116 / DOT 5.1. Its high boiling point lets it be used safely in demanding ambient conditions, or under prolonged braking that overheats the system, and its viscosity has been adjusted for use at low ambient temperatures too. It is not corrosive to the metals used in brake circuits and does not swell rubber or plastic components, so seals and gaskets are left undamaged; it lubricates well, with an anti-wear action, and stays chemically stable even at high temperature.
SAE J1703 — DOT 3 brake fluid
The SAE standard for glycol brake fluids at the DOT 3 level, defined by dry and wet boiling point.
