Syntium Prime AV 5W-30
Synthetic-technology oil for cars with after-treatment systems, ACEA C3, VW 504.00/507.00
SAE 5W-30
PETRONAS Syntium 5000 AV 5W-30 SN is a fully synthetic lubricant formulated with °CoolTech™ to fight excessive engine heat, targeting the critical heat zones inside the engine to effectively absorb and transfer excess heat, defending critical components from damage and loss of performance. It uses environmentally friendly lubricant technology suited to maintaining the high efficiency of exhaust gas after-treatment systems and fuel economy, and is especially designed for passenger cars using direct-injection turbocharged gasoline and diesel engines such as Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz, also suitable for SUVs, light vans and biofuel-running vehicles fitted with diesel particulate filters, catalytic converters, fuel injectors, multi-valves or turbochargers operating under severe conditions. Benefits include outstanding resistance to high-temperature oxidation and oil thickening, outstanding sludge prevention capability for gasoline applications, outstanding soot dispersion capability for diesel applications, exceptional protection for after-treatment exhaust systems, and superior fuel economy performance. The oil meets the API SN specification and the ACEA C3 performance level, and carries MB approval 229.51, BMW LL-04, VW 504.00/507.00 and Porsche C30 approvals, plus FCA performance level 955535-S3. Typical physical characteristics include a density of 0.851 g/cm³ at 15°C, a kinematic viscosity of 11.60 cSt at 100°C, a viscosity index of 171, a flash point of 228°C, a sulphated ash content of 0.8%, a TBN of 8.8 mgKOH/g, CCS of 5711 mPa·s at -30°C and a pour point of -45°C.

ACEA C3 oil sequence
ACEA's sequence for catalyst-compatible, low-SAPS engines.Source
Mercedes-Benz approval 229.51
A Mercedes-Benz operating-fluid approval (BeVo sheet).
BMW Longlife-04
BMW's approval for low-SAPS oils in engines with a particulate filter and sensitive catalysts. It protects the aftertreatment system across long drain intervals.
VW 504 00 / 507 00 — low-SAPS longlife oil
VW's pair of standards for low-SAPS, variable-drain oils: 504 00 for petrol engines and 507 00 for diesels with a particulate filter. One oil usually covers both.
FCA 9.55535-S3 — engine oil
A fluid specification from the Fiat Chrysler — today Stellantis — 9.55535 / 955535 series; the letter-and-digit suffix identifies the performance level and viscosity grade.
