AGIP Novecento 85W-140
EP gear oil for the hypoid gears of classic vehicles
SAE 85W-140
Cat GO (Gear Oil) SAE 85W-140 is a gear oil for Cat manual transmissions, differentials and final drives. It is a multi-grade API GL-5 classification gear oil intended for extreme-pressure applications, including differentials and final drives on Cat Wheel Tractor-Scrapers, specific Articulated Trucks, Wheel Excavators and Backhoe Loaders, Cold Planer direct-drive transmissions, differentials and final drives, and drum bearings on Vibratory Soil Compactors. Tested and approved by Caterpillar to meet the same standards as Genuine Cat Parts, Cat GO offers superior thermal stability and oxidation resistance for longer gear and bearing life, extreme-pressure performance for improved performance and life under extreme loads, multi-purpose capability that simplifies maintenance by reducing the number of gear lubricants needed, and a wide temperature range with excellent high-temperature stability and superior low-temperature performance for easier start-ups. Typical 85W-140 characteristics: API gravity 25.1, flash point 226°C (439°F), pour point -24°C, Brookfield viscosity 75,200 cP at -26°C, kinematic viscosity 337 cSt at 40°C and 27.4 cSt at 100°C, viscosity index 98, phosphorus 0.88% wt. and density 0.910 @ 16°C. Distributed in Romania by Bergerat Monnoyeur.
