Petronas Urania 5000 F 5W-30
Fully synthetic heavy-duty diesel engine oil, ACEA E4/E7, MB 228.5, Scania LDF-3
SAE 5W-30
PETRONAS Urania Prime Long Drain 5W-30 is a fully synthetic heavy-duty engine oil with fuel economy and extended service interval capabilities, formulated with StrongTech technology, forming a uniquely strong fluid film that protects the engine, retains performance and keeps trucks running and available for longer, helping reduce total cost of ownership. It is suitable for all types of heavy-duty diesel applications, including high-output Euro V engines fitted with EGR technology and most using SCR NOx reduction systems, as well as new and old turbocharged and naturally aspirated diesel engines, on-highway and off-highway, running on high or ultra-low sulphur diesel and biodiesel. It is approved Daimler Truck Fluid Release (DTFR) 15B120, backward compatible with MB 228.5 and previous E4-16 classification, and replaces Urania 5000 F 5W-30. Exceptional thermal and oxidation stability extends the drain interval and engine life, it improves fuel economy, keeps acidity under control for corrosion protection, offers outstanding anti-wear protection, effective soot control, improved cold-start lubrication and better fluid-film resistance under severe mechanical stress. Urania Prime Long Drain 5W-30 meets ACEA E4 and E7, and is approved DTFR 15B120, Mack EO-N, MAN M3277, Renault RLD-2, Scania LDF-3 and Volvo VDS-3, with performance level in line with Cummins CES 20077/20076, Deutz DQC IV-18, DAF Extended Drain (with Rapido Service system), Ford WSS-M2C212-A1, IVECO 18-1804 Class TFE, MB 228.5, MB 235.28, MTU Oil Category 3 and Voith Retarder Oil-Class B.

Daimler Truck DTFR 15B120 (formerly MB 228.5) — multigrade engine oil, high TBN
An engine oil for high-performance diesel engines without aftertreatment, carrying a higher alkaline reserve (TBN) than the 228.3 level. Daimler Truck renumbered the MB-Approval sheets into the DTFR series; MB 228.5 and DTFR 15B120 are the same requirement.Source
