Mobiltrans HD 10W, 30, 50 and 60 are extra high performance, heavy duty transmission and drive-train lubricants engineered to meet or exceed the requirements of the rigorous Caterpillar TO-4 specification. The series is uniquely designed to optimise the performance of powershift transmissions, gearboxes and final drives, and provides maximum protection in hydraulic applications even in high-pressure systems. Selected base oils and an advanced additive system deliver the precise performance parameters needed to maximise productivity of construction, quarrying and mining equipment operating in severe conditions, offering a clear performance advantage over mixed-fleet engine oils and older lubricants meeting only Caterpillar TO-2. The series is recommended for heavy duty transmissions, gearboxes, final drives and hydraulic systems in off-highway mining, construction, quarrying and agriculture, including manual, powershift and automatic transmissions calling for Allison C-4 fluids (SAE 10W and 30 grades), Twin Disc transmissions, and transmissions calling for Type F fluids, as well as most mobile equipment hydraulic applications. Depending on grade, Mobiltrans HD Series carries ZF TE-ML 03C (30, 10W) and ZF TE-ML 07F (30) approvals, is recommended for applications requiring Allison C-4 (30, 10W) and Komatsu KES 07.868.1 (30, 50, 10W), and meets or exceeds Caterpillar TO-4 across all four grades (10W, 30, 50, 60).
