PETRONAS Sprinta F900 10W-40 is a fully synthetic engine oil with UltraFlex™ technology, engineered to react instantly to the different demands of a motorcycle's critical areas, delivering instant defence and responsive performance from cold start, in traffic and on the open road. It is suitable for all types of 4-stroke motorcycle engines, clutches and gearboxes, especially for high-performance motorcycles and severe riding conditions requiring JASO MA2 or MA, API SN (and earlier) lubricants, and is suitable for bikes from leading Japanese, European and American manufacturers. Its benefits include exceptional oil film and shear strength with high viscosity stability for enhanced engine performance and optimal fuel economy, exceptional engine, gear and clutch protection exceeding specification requirements, prevention of clutch slippage, and exceptional control of deposit build-up under high temperature. It also offers exceptional oxidation resistance and low volatility for extended drain intervals, exceptional wear protection at start-up, and meets the requirements of bikes fitted with catalytic converters through its low-sulphur, low-phosphorus formulation. The oil meets and exceeds API SN performance and the JASO MA2 specification (also meeting JASO MA). Typical physical characteristics include a density of 0.846 g/cm³ at 15°C, a kinematic viscosity of 14.5 cSt at 100°C, a viscosity index of 164, a flash point of 230°C, a TBN of 7.0 mgKOH/g and a pour point of -39°C.
