Manufacturer's description
Divinol HVI Plus ISO 46 (Art-Nr. 48370) is a viscosity-temperature-improved high-performance hydraulic oil with very good viscosity-temperature behaviour, alloyed with EP additives. Formulated with a high viscosity index and special additives for ageing and corrosion resistance, it is an HVLP oil according to DIN 51524 Part 3, based on high-quality mineral oils. Thanks to its special formulation it easily covers the ISO viscosity range from 22 to 68, giving it a genuine multigrade character. The oil separates water very well, and it should be noted that Divinol HVI Plus ISO 46 contains zinc. The product offers a low tendency to foam, good air-release capability, high resistance to ageing, very good corrosion protection, outstanding thermal stability, excellent wear protection and a high viscosity index. As a viscosity-improved high-performance hydraulic oil, it clearly outperforms the properties of a conventional HVLP fluid in these respects. Divinol HVI Plus ISO 46 can be used in commercial vehicles such as construction, forestry and agricultural machinery, as well as in many other applications where hydraulic systems are exposed to large temperature fluctuations. It meets DIN 51524 Part 3, AFNOR NF E 48603 and VDMA 24318, and additionally the manufacturer performance requirements of ASLE 70-1/-2/-3, David Brown S1.53.101, US Steel 126/127, CETOP PR91H, Vickers I-286-S3/M-2950-S, Denison Hydraulics HF-2 and Bosch Rexroth RD 90220.

Standards & approvals
AFNOR NF E 48603
NF E 48-603 — hydraulic fluids (France)
The French standard for mineral hydraulic fluids, built on the same HL, HM and HV classes as DIN 51524 and ISO 11158.
VDMA 24318
VDMA 24318 — fire-resistant hydraulic fluids
The VDMA sheet of the German machine builders' association for fire-resistant hydraulic fluids: fire behaviour and system material compatibility requirements.
David Brown S1.53 101 level
David Brown S1.53.101 level — EP gear oil
David Brown's specification for extreme-pressure gear oils in open and enclosed drives under heavy and shock loading. It overlaps DIN 51517-3 CLP and U.S. Steel 224.
Denison Hydraulics HF-2
Parker Denison HF-2 — hydraulic fluid
The HF-2 level of the Denison specification, defined by the vane pump wear test. It is the base requirement for hydraulic oils in Denison equipment.
Bosch Rexroth RD90220
Bosch Rexroth RD 90220 — mineral hydraulic fluids
Bosch Rexroth's works standard for mineral hydraulic fluids in its own equipment: filterability, cleanliness and antiwear performance beyond DIN 51524.
