Mobil Delvac Modern 15W-40 Super Defense V4
Synthetic-technology diesel oil for mixed fleets, ACEA E7, API CI-4, Cat ECF-2
SAE 15W-40
Mobil Delvac MX 15W-40 is an extra-high-performance diesel engine oil that provides excellent lubrication for today's diesel engines, promoting long engine life and meeting or exceeding the requirements of virtually all major European and American engine manufacturers. Its advanced chemistry delivers outstanding performance in both modern, demanding low-emission diesel engines and older diesel engines running on low- or high-sulphur fuel, combining high-performance base stocks with a balanced additive system for excellent control of soot-related oil thickening and outstanding resistance to oxidation, corrosion and high-temperature deposits. ExxonMobil recommends it for naturally aspirated and turbo-charged diesel equipment from leading Japanese, European and American manufacturers, on-highway light and heavy-duty trucking, off-highway construction, mining, quarrying and agriculture, and mixed-fleet applications. Key benefits include TBN reserves for deposit control and acid neutralisation, stay-in-grade shear stability for wear protection, advanced detergency/dispersancy for cleaner engines, improved soot handling, excellent low-temperature start-up protection, and component compatibility — making it a single engine oil solution for mixed fleet operations. The product carries approvals from Detroit (93K215), Mack (EO-N, EO-M Plus), Renault Trucks (RLD-2) and Volvo (VDS-3), is recommended for ACEA B2/E3, API CF/CF-4/CG-4/SH, Cummins CES 20071/20072, Mack EO-M, MAN M 3275-1, Renault Trucks RD/RD-2/RLD and Volvo VDS-2, and meets or exceeds API CH-4/CI-4/SJ/SL, Cummins CES 20076/20077, Ford WSS-M2C171-D and ACEA E7. It is an SAE 15W-40 grade with viscosity index 136, TBN 9.2 mgKOH/g and pour point -36°C.
