PETRONAS Tutela Hydraulic AP46 is an anti-wear hydraulic fluid, ISO VG 46, specially developed for a wide range of mobile and industrial hydraulic equipment operating under normal to moderately stressed conditions. It delivers anti-wear protection and smooth operation of hydraulic systems over their standard service life, and is recommended in mobile hydraulic systems requiring anti-wear ISO VG 46 fluids. Benefits include good thermal and oxidation stability, good anti-rust and corrosion protection, good water separability, compatibility with most metal alloys, seals and elastomers, low-temperature protection during cold start, and high air release with good foam stability. Typical properties include kinematic viscosity of 46 mm²/s at 40°C, viscosity index of 100, pour point of -21°C and flash point (COC) of 220°C. The product meets DIN 51524 Part II HLP and ISO 11158 HM specifications.
