Syntium 5000 DM 5W-30 SN
Fully synthetic oil for Mercedes-Benz and VW cars with after-treatment, ACEA C2/C3, API SQ
SAE 5W-30
PETRONAS Syntium Prime DM 5W-30 is an advanced synthetic technology lubricant formulated with °CoolTech™ technology, which effectively controls heat, resists oxidation and prevents oil degradation and deposit build-up, protecting engine parts and maintaining engine efficiency for the full drain interval. It is especially designed for passenger cars with direct-injection turbocharged petrol and diesel engines such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW and VW (please refer to the owner's manual). It is also suitable for SUVs, light vans and vehicles running on biofuels and fitted with exhaust after-treatment and emission-control devices such as diesel particulate filters and catalytic converters, as well as fuel injectors, multi-valve systems or turbochargers operating under severe conditions. The formulation delivers an exceptional ability to maintain oil thickness and reduce engine wear, to protect against oil oxidation and thickening throughout the drain interval, and to control sludge build-up for maximum power and efficiency. It meets API SQ and ACEA C2, C3 and carries MB-Approval 229.51, MB-Approval 229.52 and BMW LL-04, with VW 505.00/505.01, FCA 9.55535-S3, Opel-Vauxhall OV 040 1547 D30/G30 and Ford WSS-M2C961-A performance levels.

Mercedes-Benz approval 229.51
A Mercedes-Benz operating-fluid approval (BeVo sheet).
Mercedes-Benz approval 229.52
A Mercedes-Benz operating-fluid approval (BeVo sheet).
BMW Longlife-04
BMW's approval for low-SAPS oils in engines with a particulate filter and sensitive catalysts. It protects the aftertreatment system across long drain intervals.
VW 505 00 / 505 01 — diesel engine oil
VW's passenger-car diesel standards: 505 00 for ordinary engines, 505 01 for unit-injector engines, which demand a stronger antiwear package.
FCA 9.55535-S3 — engine oil
A fluid specification from the Fiat Chrysler — today Stellantis — 9.55535 / 955535 series; the letter-and-digit suffix identifies the performance level and viscosity grade.
