Mobilfluid 424 is an extra high performance multipurpose tractor lubricant engineered to meet or exceed transmission and hydraulic fluid requirements. Its advanced technology is designed to optimise the performance of agricultural and commercial tractors across a wide range of environments and conditions, combining select base oils with an advanced additive package for severe-duty agricultural and construction drive trains, and is particularly well suited for reducing wet brake and Power Take-Off (PTO) chatter. It is recommended for heavy-duty transmissions, differentials, final drives, hydraulic systems, power steering, wet brakes, PTOs and hydrostatic drives in off-highway agriculture, construction and quarrying, including top-up/refill and commercial transmissions requiring Type A (Suffix A), Dexron or Type F fluids (not for passenger car automatic transmissions). Key benefits include enhanced frictional properties for optimised clutch and PTO performance with improved wet-brake chatter control, compatibility with modern clutch materials and elastomers, high viscosity index and shear stability, excellent rust, corrosion and yellow-metal-etching protection, strong low-temperature and anti-wear/extreme-pressure performance, and excellent thermal and oxidation stability that extends seal and equipment life. Mobilfluid 424 carries approvals including Volvo WB-101 and ZF TE-ML 05F/17E, is recommended for applications requiring Allison C-4, API GL-4, Caterpillar TO-2, CNH MAT 3505/3525, Ford ESN-M2C134-D, several JICASE MS specifications, Massey Ferguson CMS M1135/M1141, AGCO Powerfluid 821 XL and New Holland WB NWH 410B, and meets or exceeds Kubota UDT, Caterpillar MTO and John Deere JDM J20C.
