Mobil Glygoyle 100
Fully synthetic PAG oil for worm gears and bearings in severe service
ISO VG 100
Mobil Glygoyle 11, 22 and 30 are polyalkylene glycol (PAG) based, high-performance lubricants that provide outstanding lubrication in extreme-temperature gear, bearing and circulation system applications, well beyond the capabilities of mineral oils. They are shear-stable, with outstanding resistance to thermal degradation, oxidation and sludge/deposit formation, and incorporate a proprietary additive package that enhances EP/anti-wear protection, corrosion and rust protection, and foam resistance without compromising the intrinsic properties of the PAG base oils. With very high viscosity indices and, being wax-free, extremely low pour points, Mobil Glygoyle 11, 22 and 30 exhibit lower friction and traction coefficients than mineral oils, delivering lower operating temperatures in many applications. Recommended for the most severe conditions in plain and anti-friction bearings and industrial enclosed gears up to a bulk oil temperature of 200°C, typical applications include severe plastic calendar operations, high-temperature paper machine bearings, industrial enclosed gears (spur, bevel and worm), and reciprocating/rotary compressors handling air, natural gas, CO2 and other process gases. Note: these PAG oils are not compatible with mineral oils, most other synthetic lubricants, or even other PAG-type products such as the Mobil Glygoyle ISO VG Series — systems must be thoroughly cleaned and flushed before conversion. With more than 25 years of proven performance in the most severe industrial applications, Mobil Glygoyle 11, 22 and 30 are recommended by major plastic calendar, paper machine bearing, compressor and gear manufacturers, offering very high thermal conductivity and excellent low-temperature fluidity that lower operating temperature and extend oil charge life, reduced gear tooth wear at high temperatures on both steel-on-steel and steel-on-bronze metallurgies, and reduced gas absorption and viscosity reduction under pressurized hydrocarbon gases for improved film protection in natural gas compressors.
