PETRONAS Syntium 7000 0W-40 is a fully synthetic lubricant developed with °CoolTech™ technology, which effectively controls the heat, resisting oxidation and preventing oil degradation and deposit build-up, to protect parts and maintain engine efficiency for the full drain interval. Today's smaller, more compact engines run hotter than ever, and congested stop/start traffic pushes operating temperatures even higher; Syntium 7000 0W-40 is built to keep the engine cool in the face of that aggressive heat. The oil provides outstanding fuel economy and meets the demanding requirements of modern, high-performance passenger cars. It is especially designed for passenger cars, SUVs and vans using direct-injection turbocharged petrol engines and diesel engines, such as Mercedes-Benz and VW models (please refer to the owner's manual), and is also suitable for vehicles running on biofuels or equipped with fuel injectors, multi-valves or turbochargers operating under severe conditions. Engineered to control the heat, it offers ultimate protection against oil thickening caused by oxidation (accelerated by biodiesel fuel), ultimate resistance to sludge formation, protection against excessive bearing wear under high load, protection against abnormal valvetrain and cylinder wall wear, control of turbocharger and piston deposits and ultimate piston cleanliness. PETRONAS Syntium 7000E 0W-40 is especially designed for passenger cars, SUVs and vans using direct injection turbocharged gasoline engines and diesel engines such as in Mercedes-Benz and VW (please refer to the owner’s manual). It is also suitable for vehicles running on biofuels and those equipped with fuel injectors, multi- valves or turbochargers operating under severe conditions.
