Mobilux EP Series comprises Mobilux EP 0, 1 and 2, a high-performance family of general-purpose industrial greases based on lithium hydroxystearate. Formulated with an ISO VG 150 base oil across NLGI grades 0 to 2, they provide extra protection against wear, rusting and water washout, and are recommended for most types of industrial applications, including heavy-duty service where high unit pressures or shock loads occur. The greases offer excellent rust and corrosion protection and resistance to water wash-out, making them well suited to moist or wet operating conditions. Mobilux EP 0 and 1 provide good low-temperature pumpability and are suited to centralised lubrication systems, while Mobilux EP 2 is a general-purpose grease recommended for anti-friction and plain bearings, bushings and pins under normal conditions. Recommended operating temperature range is -20°C to 130°C, with higher temperatures possible if re-lubrication frequency is increased. A Timken OK load of 40 lb illustrates their load-carrying and extreme-pressure capability. Mobilux EP greases carry VOLVO 97718 approval and meet DIN 51825 and DIN 51826 classifications, delivering reduced wear under heavy or shock loading, corrosion protection, and extended bearing life in wet environments.

Applications

• • Mobilux EP 0 and EP 1 provide good low temperature pumpability and are suitable for centralised lubrication systems and other applications where low temperature performance is required. • Mobilux EP 2 is recommended for multipurpose applications in antifriction and plain bearings, bushings and pins under normal operating conditions.
