Manufacturer's description
PETRONAS Tutela ATF 700 DM is a premium synthetic-technology Automatic Transmission Fluid with a low-viscosity formulation, delivering fuel efficiency, long-lasting shifting performance and component durability for Daimler automatic transmissions over their standard service life. It was specifically developed for Mercedes-Benz and is approved for 7G-Tronic applications (NAG2FE+, 722.9 with code A89 friction-reduced and hybrid transmission 724.2) and for transfer cases (models 167, 205, 213, 217, 218, 222, 238, 253 and 257 with transmission 725.0, and model 257 with transmission 725.1). It must not be used where MB 236.14, 236.12 or 236.10 fluids are recommended. The lower viscosity reduces operational energy losses and improves fuel economy, while exceptional thermal and oxidation stability, enhanced shear stability and excellent anti-wear gear and bearing protection extend fluid and transmission life. Excellent seal compatibility and robust corrosion protection of yellow metals and steel prevent leaks, and extended friction durability provides superior anti-shudder performance and enhanced driving comfort, with exceptional low-temperature viscosity for smooth start-up and shifting. Approval: MB-Approval 236.15. Typical data: blue, kinematic viscosity 4.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 151, Brookfield viscosity 3650 mPa·s at -40 °C, pour point -57 °C.
