Eni Acer 220
Mineral circulating oil with anti-rust and antioxidant properties
ISO VG 220
Mobil Paper Machine Oil S 220 is a high-performance synthetic lubricant specifically designed for demanding industrial paper machine circulating systems, engineered to deliver lubrication characteristics not attainable with conventional premium mineral oils. Formulated with synthesized hydrocarbon fluid base oil technology and a carefully balanced proprietary additive system, it provides excellent protection of gears and bearings under severe operating conditions. At ISO VG 220, this oil combines a very low pour point with a naturally high viscosity index, ensuring good low-temperature start-up while maintaining excellent viscosity at very high temperatures; its low traction coefficient and high VI can help lower energy consumption and reduce component operating temperatures, permitting the higher steam pressures, temperatures and machine speeds common in high-output paper machines and calender rolls. Outstanding hydrolytic stability and filterability assure reliable performance in the presence of water, retaining effective filtration even at very fine levels, readily separating water and preserving colour characteristics over extended severe-duty operation — a benefit particularly valuable where colour stability is needed to visually monitor oil flow through flow meters. Mobil Paper Machine Oil S 220 is recognised in Voith Paper VS 108 sections 5.3.2 (dry end), 5.3.5 (shoe press) and 5.3.6 (winder), and offers excellent wear protection, outstanding oxidation and thermal stability, and effective water separation that extend maintenance intervals and equipment life.
