Manufacturer's description

Divinol Synthogear 75W-90 (Art. No. 52010) is a semi-synthetic gear oil built on synthetic base oils. Its formulation of special EP and other additives provides very strong protection against rust, corrosion and foam, a low pour point, excellent EP characteristics and load-carrying capacity, easy shifting even at low temperatures, very good ageing resistance and excellent oxidation stability. It is not aggressive towards non-ferrous metals such as copper. The oil is designed for extremely heavily loaded vehicle gearboxes and other gearboxes where EP properties are required. It can be used in auxiliary gears, transaxles and hypoid gears requiring API GL-5, as well as in manual transmissions requiring API GL-4. Divinol Synthogear 75W-90 meets API GL-4 / GL-5 (MT-1) and MIL-L-2105D / PRF-2105E and covers the performance requirements of Arvin Meritor 0-76-N, DAF (GL-5), Iveco (GL-5), MAN 341 Z2, MAN 341 E2, MAN 342 M2, MB-Approval 235.0, Mack GO-J, Scania STO 1:0 and ZF TE-ML 02B/05A/07A/08/12E/16B/16C/16D/17B/19B/21A; it is also suitable for VW 501.50 (G50).

Applications

  • Divinol Synthogear 75W-90 is for extremely heavily loaded vehicle gearboxes and further gearboxes where the EP properties are required.

Performance & benefits

  • Divinol Synthogear 75W-90 is a semisynthetic gear lubricant oil made on the basis of synthetic base oils. Divinol Synthogear 75W-90 be used for auxilary, transaxles and hypoid gear oils in which API GL-5 is necessary or in manual transmissions where API GL-4 is necessary. The formulation of special EP and other additives lead to the following characteristics
  • very strong protection against the formation of rust, corrosion and foam
  • low pour point
  • excellent EP characteristics
  • easy shifting properties even at low temperatures
  • excellent load carrying capacity
  • very good aging resistance
  • excellent oxidation stability
  • not aggressive to non ferrous materials (copper etc.)

Standards & approvals

  • MIL-L 2105D/PRF-2105E

    MIL-L-2105D and MIL-PRF-2105E

The US military EP gear oil specification quoted in both of its issues: the older L-2105D and its replacement PRF-2105E.

  • Arvin Meritor 0-76-N

    Meritor O-76-N — axle lubricant

The Meritor specification for axle lubricants in the O-76 series; the trailing letter gives the performance level and base oil, N being one of the synthetic extended-drain levels.

  • Renault GL-5

Renault, API GL-5 level — axle oil

Renault's requirement that the axle oil be at the API GL-5 level, that is, a hypoid oil with extreme-pressure additives.

  • MAN 341 Z2

    MAN 341 type Z2 — gearbox oil

Type Z2 of the MAN 341 list for manual gearbox oils.

  • MAN 342 M2

    MAN 342 type M2 — axle oil

Type M2 of the MAN 342 list, with tighter rear-axle thermal stability requirements than M1.

  • Scania STO 1:0

Scania STO 1:0 — transmission and axle oil

Scania's works standard for the oils in its own gearboxes and axles, with synchroniser and hypoid gear protection requirements.
