Mobil 1 x1 5W-30
Full synthetic passenger car and light van oil, API SQ, ILSAC GF-7, dexos1 Gen3
SAE 5W-30
Mobil Super™ 3000 Formula D1 5W-30 is a fully synthetic, high-performance engine oil designed for gasoline engines of American, Japanese and Korean car builders. It helps provide long engine life and enhanced turbocharger and engine protection in vehicles of all ages, with excellent protection against sludge, engine rust and corrosion under severe and low-temperature conditions, and optimum viscosity and fluidity across a broad temperature range. It addresses the specific challenges of downsized turbocharged direct-injection gasoline engines in terms of engine and emission after-treatment system protection. The oil is suitable for a diversity of passenger cars, SUVs and light commercial vehicles from General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, and Japanese and Korean builders, helping prevent LSPI at low speed and high torque, protecting against rust, corrosion and wear, and maintaining engine cleanliness and efficiency. It meets the latest API and ILSAC industry standards, classified as API SP Resource Conserving and ILSAC GF-6A (backward compatible with API SN Plus, SN, SM, SL and ILSAC GF-5, GF-4). It carries GM dexos1:GEN3 and VW VWC 53034 approvals, is recommended for applications requiring Chrysler MS-6395, FIAT 9.55535-CR1, Ford WSS-M2C929-A and GM 6094M, and meets or exceeds Ford WSS-M2C946-A, Ford WSS-M2C946-B1 and Ford WSS-M2C961-A1.
GM dexos1 Gen 3, licensed
GM's current petrol engine oil specification, third generation: protection against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI), turbocharger cleanliness and fuel economy. "Licensed" means the product carries the registered dexos mark.
Chrysler MS-6395 — engine oil
The Chrysler specification for engine oils in its own passenger cars, called for at the viscosity grade the maker specifies.
Fiat 9.55535-CR1 — engine oil
A fluid specification from the Fiat Chrysler — today Stellantis — 9.55535 / 955535 series; the letter-and-digit suffix identifies the performance level and viscosity grade.
GM 6094M — engine oil (obsolete)
GM's old passenger-car engine oil specification, withdrawn once the modern API categories and the dexos specifications arrived.
Petrol engine oil, API SP performance level
API's service category for spark-ignition engines. Current category.Source
API SP, Resource Conserving
The current API petrol-engine level: LSPI protection, turbocharger cleanliness and deposit control, plus the Resource Conserving mark for fuel economy.
ILSAC GF-6A petrol engine oil
The ILSAC level that added protection against low-speed pre-ignition and timing chain wear. The A variant covers the ordinary viscosity grades, from SAE 0W-20 upwards.
Ford WSS-M2C946-A — engine oil
A Ford passenger-car engine oil specification adding in-house fuel economy requirements to the ACEA level.
