Manufacturer's description

Mobil DTE 10 Excel Series are high-performance, anti-wear hydraulic oils specifically designed for modern, high-pressure industrial and mobile equipment hydraulic systems. Built from synthetic-technology base oils and a proprietary additive package, they deliver well-balanced performance across a range of applications, with outstanding oxidation and thermal stability that supports long oil life and minimizes deposit formation in severe systems using high-pressure, high-output pumps. Available in ISO VG 15 to 150 grades, the series offers innovative ultra keep-clean performance that protects critical components such as tight-tolerance servo and proportional valves, plus a shear-stable, high viscosity index that supports a wide operating temperature range and outstanding air release that helps prevent cavitation damage and micro-dieseling. Its zinc-free anti-wear system protects gear, vane and piston pumps while minimizing deposits, and the product is not acutely or chronically toxic to the aquatic environment per GHS/OECD criteria. Laboratory and field testing shows Mobil DTE 10 Excel can deliver quantifiable increases in hydraulic efficiency versus other Mobil hydraulic oils, translating to reduced power consumption or increased machine output. The series is recognised across a broad range of OEM approvals and specifications — including Daimler Truck DTFR 31B100, MB-Approval 341.1, ZF TE-ML 04K/04R, Bosch Rexroth Fluid Rating List 90245, Denison HF-0/HF-1/HF-2, Eaton E-FDGN-TB002-E, Voith Paper VS 108, and Fives Cincinnati P-68/P-69/P-70 — and meets DIN 51524-2/-3, ISO 11158 L-HM/L-HV and ASTM D6158 (Class HVHP) classifications.

Applications

  • • Industrial and mobile equipment hydraulic systems operating at high pressures and temperatures in critical applications • Hydraulic systems subject to deposit build-up such as sophisticated Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machines, particularly where close clearance servo-valves are used • Systems where cold start-up and high operating temperatures are typical • Systems requiring a high degree of load-carrying capability and anti-wear protection • Machines employing a wide range of components using various metallurgy

Performance & benefits

  • Excellent Hydraulic EfficiencyPotentially reduced energy consumption or increased system responsiveness
  • Ultra Keep Clean PerformanceReduced system deposits leading to reduced machine maintenance and increased component life
  • Shear Stable, High Viscosity IndexSustained component protection over a wide temperature
  • Oxidation and Thermal StabilityExtends fluid life even under harsh operating conditions

Standards & approvals

  • Daimler Truck DTFR 31B100

Daimler Truck DTFR 31B100 (formerly MB 341.0) — tipper hydraulic oil

The Daimler Truck requirement for the hydraulic oil in tipper installations. Daimler Truck renumbered the MB-Approval sheets into the DTFR series; MB 341.0 and DTFR 31B100 are the same requirement.Source

  • MB-Approval 341.1

    Mercedes-Benz approval 341.1

    A Mercedes-Benz operating-fluid approval (BeVo sheet).

  • Fives Cincinnati P-68

Fives Cincinnati P-68 — ISO VG 32 hydraulic oil

An approval number from the Fives Cincinnati list of fluids for use in its own machine tools. Approved hydraulic fluids must pass its own wear, filterability and water separation tests, beyond the DIN 51524-2 level.

  • Fives Cincinnati P-69

Fives Cincinnati P-69 — ISO VG 68 hydraulic oil

An approval number from the Fives Cincinnati list of fluids for use in its own machine tools. Approved hydraulic fluids must pass its own wear, filterability and water separation tests, beyond the DIN 51524-2 level.

  • Fives Cincinnati P-70

Fives Cincinnati P-70 — ISO VG 46 hydraulic oil

An approval number from the Fives Cincinnati list of fluids for use in its own machine tools. Approved hydraulic fluids must pass its own wear, filterability and water separation tests, beyond the DIN 51524-2 level.
