Manufacturer's description

Eni ITE 600 is a high quality, straight (unadditivated) mineral electrical insulating oil, which can be used in transformers, circuit breakers, capacitors, rheostats and other electrical applications where low temperatures are met.

Applications

  • Eni ITE 600 is a high quality uninhibited insulating oil that can be used in transformers, switchgears, condensers, rheostats and in many other electrical applications where particularly low temperature conditions can occur. The product is highly stable and meets corrosion requirements of tests ASTM D1275B / CIGRE TF A2.32.01 (CCD test). Eni ITE 600 guarantees a high breakdown voltage; in this respect, it is recommended to adopt correct handling procedures, such as submitting the product to preventive filtering and dewatering processes before service starting and periodic oil monitoring and machines maintenance.

Performance & benefits

  • Suitable for transformer operating at very low temperatures thanks to low pour point
  • Non-corrosive towards copper with no need for passivation
  • Outstanding protection against electrical discharges thanks to excellent dielectric strength
  • Good heat transfer properties
  • Long drain intervals thanks to outstanding resistance to thermal and chemical degradation

Standards & approvals

  • IEC 60296 Ed. 5 (2020) Type B TVBU
