Manufacturer's description

Divinol Alustar (Art-Nr. 89455, packed as 89455LK) is a cleaner in the Zeller+Gmelin automotive service-products range, listed in the master DIVINOL LUBRICANTS brochure alongside Divinol Alu-Felgenreiniger. The safety data sheet identifies the intended use simply as a cleaner (Reiniger). No technical data sheet for this article could be obtained from any public source; Zeller+Gmelin publishes it only behind the login-gated download area of zeller-gmelin.de. Care is needed not to confuse this article with Divinol Alu-Felgenreiniger (Art-Nr. 89450), whose technical data sheet is a different document. The safety data sheet describes a yellowish liquid with a characteristic odour, miscible with water, with a strongly acidic pH of 1.5 measured at 100 g/l and 20 °C (DIN 51369), a boiling range starting above 100 °C and a density of 1.09 g/cm³ at 20 °C (DIN EN ISO 12185). It is classified as causing serious eye damage (H318), with isotridecanol ethoxylate and phosphoric acid as the hazard-determining components, so eye and skin protection must be worn.

Applications

  • Automotive cleaning in the aluminium-wheel / light-alloy cleaner range. The detailed application text is only published in Zeller+Gmelin's login-gated technical data sheet, which could not be obtained.
